Are you interested to get some training and hands-on experience in coding, contribute to an important research project, and even get paid for it? Then please consider this wonderful opportunity outlined below!

Hi,

For my current research I’m looking for a student assistant to code some interviews. Experience is not needed, but a I bit time is. I can train you how to code the interviews.

The interviews are in Dutch, so reading Dutch is highly recommended ?.

I’ll pay you per interview, and that will be €50,- per interview.

If you’re interested, please send me a message (g.galema@umcg.nl).
If you have any colleagues or friends interested, please forward the message.

About the research:
I’ve interviewed 13 residents (doctors who finished med school but are not in training yet) about 2 situations. One situation in which they experienced difficulties to get help, and one in which they did not experience any difficulties. I used sociograms in the interviews, which are a schematic visualizations that encourage interviewees to reflect upon the nature and dynamics of their social relationships and network. The interviews are already transcribed and partly coded. We have developed a template based on who provides the help, what kind of help (information, support, expertise) they receive, and for which goal. In social sciences, this is called ‘social capital’.

I am really looking forward to your response, and I hope you can help me ?.

Kind regards,
Gerbrich Galema MD
