Edith Koh: conducting research using different sources of data
December 18, 2024 @ 16:00 - 17:00
The next monthly session will deal with the question how to conduct research using different sources of data, and about the process itself. We are very excited to welcome a speaker from the faculty of Science and Engineering: Edith Koh.
Edith Koh was formerly a science teacher in Singapore and is currently an educational developer at the Faculty of Science and Engineering. She will be sharing her PhD research titled “Teacher learning as boundary crossing: A study of interdisciplinary teacher design teams”, which lies at the intersection of science education, science communication and teacher professional development. Her sharing will focus on the process of conducting qualitative content analysis on various data sources (reflection logs, interviews and group discussion) that document the process of teacher learning.
The session will take place on December 18th at 16.00-17.00. Provided this is the last session of the calendar year, we’d also love to invite you to some social drinks afterwards in a nearby café to celebrate.
