Data Session

We are excited to invite you to join our monthly data sessions hosted by the QRG. These sessions offer an open, collaborative space where researchers can present raw data—such as interview transcripts, field notes, or recordings—for collective analysis and discussion. The aim is to deepen our understanding of data and the coding process through multiple perspectives, foster reflexivity, and help us jointly learn more about coding.

Set up: Each session will involve a “presenter” who brings their data for group discussion, and we welcome researchers at any stage of analysis. Whether you’re looking for fresh perspectives or feedback on emerging themes, these sessions are an excellent opportunity to engage with others and refine your work. Similarly, no matter whether you have a lot of experience or are new to coding and qualitative research, you are very welcome to join us.

– For presenters: Please reach out to us if you would like to offer your data for joint coding. We will be working with printed excerpts of data – no more than a few pages – ideally in English, or English translation translation).
